On 13th December 2024, the EU will introduce the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR).
Unfortunately, the guidance provided so far regarding this regulation has been vague and unclear. These changes are expected to create significant challenges, especially for small businesses like ours that ship goods to the EU and Northern Ireland.
The new regulation requires all businesses - including small, handmade, and independent businesses - to appoint a representative within the EU to handle product safety matters. This process can be both time-consuming and costly to implement.
Effective 11th December 2024, we will temporarily suspend online orders to the EU and Northern Ireland. If you are an EU or Northern Ireland customer and would like to place an order, please do so by 3:00PM on Wednesday 11th December 2024. After this time, EU and Northern Ireland shipping options will be temporarily disabled on our website until we have the appropriate measures in place.
Please know that we are committed to finding a viable solution that allows us to resume EU and Northern Ireland orders as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your continued support and loyalty since we launched in 2010. We look to welcoming you back in the near future.
Important Note: This change applies only to EU & Northern Ireland orders. Customers in the UK and non-EU regions will not be affected, and our delivery options for these areas will remain unchanged.
